The seed for Real Legacy Investments (RLI) is the pursuit of financial freedom through real estate investing. Early on, they had success with investing in residential (1-4 unit) assets, but they quickly learned that the RLI business model would have to change if the portfolio was going to achieve scale. Through hundreds of hours of diligent self-education as well as mentoring under seasoned, nationally recognized operators, Miguel and Jake built RLI. Miguel Rodriguez – Managing Partner / Acquisitions
Miguel leads RLI’s Acquisition Strategy focused on specific markets, leverages local subject matter experts and has constructed essential strategic partnerships with regional brokers, property managers & lenders. In addition, Miguel leverages his years of IT experience to analyze properties using key data metrics to reduce risk and maximize investor returns.
Miguel Rodriguez is a seasoned Information Technology Director and Multiunit Real Estate Investor, with over 15 years of experience in his dual career. For the last decade, Miguel has worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, currently acting as Product Director supporting the Agency’s biggest national project. Miguel has also supported building management and maintenance for his family-operated portfolio. Since 2017, Miguel has taken an active investor role, acquiring properties directly. Miguel is the co-founder of Real Legacy Investment, a company committed to providing real property investment opportunities by educating and delivering sustainable investment opportunities. The company’s most recent investments include a forty-eight unit property in Greenville, South Carolina and a twenty-four unit property in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Franchesca Fowler – Managing Partner/ Investor Relations & Legal
Franchesca Fowler joined the RLI team as an advisor in charge of legal compliance and investor relations. She leads developing investor frameworks and oversees all legal interactions supporting investments.
Franchesca is an attorney who cares — about the businesses she represents and her community. Her professional and personal philosophy includes servant leadership, continuous improvement, and providing others with the information needed to find personal success. Making her an ideal fit for RLI. Franchesca is also the Head of Legal and Associate General Counsel for Demant, a global multi-billion-dollar medical device company. Prior to this role, Franchesca held leadership positions at GE Healthcare, Rutgers University, and BMS. Franchesca has advised real estate investors since 2006.
Aissa Langhorne – Managing Partner / Education & Marketing
Aissa Langhorne focuses on educating people about the opportunities that lead to financial freedom in line with RLI’s Mission Statement. She also is responsible for RLI Marketing Campaigns.
Aissa runs I.T. for RLI. She offers six years of success growing awareness and adoption of customer experience in software and network optimization across multinational technology organizations. As a thought leader and consultant, specializing in networking, large-scale program management, implementing professional leadership programs, management of global accounts and virtual teams that drive and assess key metrics, ROI, and business impacts. She is a powerful communicator with solid written, verbal, and engaging public speaking skills.
Alza Services LLC – Strategic Partner / Operations Management
Alza Services LLC (Alza) is responsible for executing the Operations Management strategy. Alza uses a network of local property management teams to ensure RLI investments’ value is maintained or increasing per the RLI key operations performance indicators.
